Along Rte 48 in Peconic is what looks to be a charming roadside stand selling produce, apples and cider. But stretching out behind Breeze Hill Farm’s La Fattoria are 72 acres of sprawling farmland cultivating delicious apples and produce and an additional 50 acres of hunting preserve boasting a freshwater duck pond, sorghum fields and a bluff looking out over the Long Island Sound. Who knew? So all of your sportsmen and women, fill up your satchel full of cider, grab your shotgun and release the hounds for a days worth of adventure, game hunting and skeet shooting- PULL!
